Youth Work
Young people are at the centre of what we do. We have a packed weekly schedule of youth work clubs that are all free of charge.
Building a Bridge of Trust
By building relationships with our youth workers, young people at Spartans Community Foundation feel safe and respected, have a sense of belonging and have a trusted adult to turn to if they need support. We call it “Building a Bridge of Trust”.
We aim to nurture the social and emotional development of young people, but most of all, Spartans is a safe place to play, to hang out with friends and a place to call “home”. Young people are at the centre of what we do. Their input and suggestions shape our clubs and activities and our Young People’s Committee helps determine the focus and direction of youth work at Spartans.
Our activities include weekly youth clubs, day trips, residentials and holiday clubs. We like to eat together, and our clubs include a meal, often prepared by young people. All of our youth work activities are free of charge.
