Connections Para Football

Spartans Connections is the para football section of The Spartans Football Club and is delivered in partnership with the Spartans Community Foundation. We welcome players who have a wide range of disabilities including physical and learning disabilities, mental health challenges and beyond.

Connections provides skill and fitness-focused football training in a fun, social atmosphere. We welcome players aged 16+. We have social and competitive players and teams are mixed gender.

We now have a Connections Junior session for young people 12-15yrs who have additional support needs.

Sessions are every Thursday 10.30am-12pm and 4.30pm - 6pm. Subs are £15 per month for League Players and £8 for Social Players. We have supported places for those who may find cost a barrier. To find out more about Connections and Junior Connections, please email us.

Walking Football

Enjoy walking football with us every Monday from 12-1pm and Friday 10am-11am. We have an hour on the pitch then have a hot drink and a blether in the cafe afterwards. All you need is a pair of moulded football boots. If you don't have any, we have some that you can borrow. Walking football is open to all adults and is a great low impact way to keep fit and meet new people.

Changing rooms are open for you to use. We have 4 x 15min games and the game is explained at beginning of every session. After we finish, we go up to the café for a hot drink, a biscuit a post-match chat.

The session is free of charge. We also collect small donations for kit, equipment and going to competitions. To find out more email us.

Pilates

During school term time we offer women’s only pilates sessions on Monday mornings from 9.30-10.30am and from 10.30-11.30am. We will supply all the equipment, just wear comfy clothes. The session is free of charge but please register your place by completing the form below.
