King’s Award Reception

In November 2024 volunteers from Spartans Community Foundation were informed that they were the recipients of the King’s Award for volunteering. This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.  This week some of our volunteers and staff attended a reception at Edinburgh City Chambers where they were officially presented with a certificate and crystal award by the Lord-Lieutenant of Edinburgh, Robert Aldridge. We had a fabulous evening socialising and celebrating everyone’s hard work. Thank you to all our volunteers who continue to to make sure that we are “here for good”.
